Stephen Nolan: Most mornings my husband enjoys listening to Stephen, who is a local Belfast TV and radio presenter.
The show he listens to is Mr Nolan’s phone in, on BBC Radio Ulster, which is broadcast on weekday mornings between 9.00 and 10.30am.The program allows listeners to express their opinions live on air on local Belfast and Northern Ireland current affairs.
Although my english is pretty good (being Mexican my native tongue is Spanish, and yes I do love hot chillis!) it is a job of work for me to keep up with the sometimes pretty intense debates which occur live on air.
The Belfast accent initially can take some time to understand, but when people get involved in a heated debate as they often do on Stephen’s show I just get lost! Anyhow that aside no matter what the subject matter of a particular days’ program, you can always be guaranteed a laugh from a few snippets of the comments broadcast.

Apparently like my husband Stephen is undergoing a battle with his weight, and recently spoke about “other” problems associated with being fat. Check out here.
